How it works
From a document to a review you can test.
Six steps, in order. You can follow most of them today in a worked example. Reviews of your own documents are not open yet; this page describes how they will work when they are.
The sequence
What happens to your document.
- 1
Choose a document
Upload or pick a supported document once real reviews open. Today you can walk this step in the synthetic demo.
- 2
Say what you need checked
State the objective in your own words. It shapes what the review goes looking for.
Objective
Check for anything that could catch us out before we sign.
- 3
Add related documents
One review can cover a single document or several related documents together.
- 4
REEVUU reads the material
The text is extracted from your files, and the review's sections are built from that text.

You check what matters
A review reports its evidence strength and completeness. REEVUU publishes no single overall score, and it is not a substitute for a lawyer, surveyor or accountant.

Anatomy
What a finding is made of.
A review is built out of findings, and every finding carries the same four things. Nothing reaches you as a bare opinion.
- The finding
- One statement about the document, written to be read on its own.
- A severity
- Info, low, medium, high or critical. How much this matters, stated rather than implied by tone.
- A confidence level
- High, medium, low, or insufficient evidence. How sure REEVUU is, kept separate from how serious the finding is, because the two are different questions.
- The evidence
- The passage the finding rests on, quoted word for word, with where in your document it came from and whether it was found there.
The check
Every quotation is looked for in your document.
Language models quote things that were never written. So after a finding is drafted, REEVUU searches your own file for the wording it claims to be quoting and records one of three verdicts. You see whichever verdict came back, including the one that says the quotation was not found.
Verified
REEVUU found that exact wording in the document you gave it. The quotation is not a paraphrase and not a reconstruction.
Could not be verified
A quotation was offered, and the search of your document did not find it. The finding still appears, carrying this verdict, because hiding it would leave you trusting a claim nobody checked.
Not checkable
No quotation was offered for this claim, so there was nothing to match against the source. Treat it as a pointer to read for yourself.
A finding that could not be verified still appears, carrying that verdict. REEVUU neither deletes it nor quietly downgrades it, and what to do about it stays your decision.
The score
What the Reviewer Score will not tell you.
Each review carries a Reviewer Score with two parts: how strong the evidence behind the findings is, and how completely the document was covered. Both describe the review itself.
There is no single overall number, and no risk rating for your document. REEVUU had one and removed it, because the same document scored differently between runs, and a figure that moves on its own is worse than no figure, because people act on it.
You judge the document. REEVUU shows you what that judgement would rest on.
By document type
What a review looks at in your kind of document.
The objective you write is what steers a review, so none of this is a fixed checklist. It is the kind of thing a review of each document type looks at, and every category opens the worked example for it.
Before you sign, understand what you're actually committing to — not just what the summary email says.
- Auto-renewal and cancellation notice periods
- Payment terms and late-fee clauses
- Liability and indemnity exposure
- Termination conditions
This Agreement shall automatically renew for successive one-year terms unless either party provides written notice of non-renewal at least ninety (90) days prior to the end of the then-current term.
What you get
Thirteen sections, always in the same order.
You can skim a review and go straight to the part you came for. A section with nothing to report is left out rather than padded, and Limitations stays even when it is empty.

Executive summary
What the document is, and what it amounts to, in a few sentences.
Not reported in this example
Nothing to report in this worked example — and a section with nothing to report is left out of the finished review.
Key facts
The names, dates, amounts and terms the rest of the review refers back to.
Not reported in this example
Nothing to report in this worked example — and a section with nothing to report is left out of the finished review.
Findings
Each finding, with a severity, a confidence level, and the passage it rests on.
From a synthetic property survey
Damp readings above the recommended threshold were recorded in the ground-floor rear wall, consistent with rising damp.
Risks and warnings
What could go wrong if the document is relied on as written.
From a synthetic business report
A material portion of the forecast rests on a deal that hasn't closed — the actual outcome could differ significantly.
Opportunities
Terms that work in your favour and would be easy to miss.
Not reported in this example
Nothing to report in this worked example — and a section with nothing to report is left out of the finished review.
Obligations and actions
What the document commits you to, and by when.
From a synthetic employment document
A 12-month post-termination non-compete clause applies, covering the same industry sector nationally.
Timeline and dates
Dates and deadlines the document sets, in the order they fall.
Not reported in this example
Nothing to report in this worked example — and a section with nothing to report is left out of the finished review.
Financial observations
What the document says about money — figures, charges, and how they are calculated.
From a synthetic quotation comparison
Quote B's headline price excludes VAT, while Quote A's includes it — the real gap is smaller than it first appears.
Contradictions
Statements that cannot all be true together, reported only when every quoted passage was verified word-for-word in your document. Check both quotes and resolve which is intended.
From a synthetic supplier contract
The contract auto-renews annually unless cancelled with 90 days' written notice — longer than the 30-day notice period in the summary email.
Missing information
Information that appears to be referenced or expected but was not found. Not finding a mention is not proof it doesn't exist — it may sit in another document or use wording this review did not match.
From a synthetic insurance document
The document doesn't state the rider's own cost — that would need a direct quote from the insurer.
Questions to ask
Questions worth raising before relying on this document. REEVUU organises what to check — it does not make the decision for you.
From a synthetic business report
Ask for a downside scenario that excludes the unsigned contract.
Recommendations
Suggested next steps drawn from the findings above. Not legal, financial or professional advice.
From a synthetic property survey
Get a specialist damp survey quote before finalising an offer.
Limitations
What this review could not do or could not verify — always disclosed, never hidden.
From a synthetic employment document
Enforceability of non-compete clauses varies by circumstance — REEVUU cannot assess whether this specific clause would hold up.
Synthetic examples — no real document is being reviewed.
Limitations is the one exception: it is always shown, even when it is empty, because it is where REEVUU discloses what it could not do.
Check what you act on
The verdicts above exist so you can check a finding rather than take it on trust. That is what REEVUU is for, and it is also where it stops.
