Data Deletion Policy

REEVUU offers four distinct deletion actions. They are not interchangeable — each has a different scope, and this page describes exactly what each one does.

Deleting an individual file

Removes the uploaded file from storage and its database record together, as one coordinated action. Any review already built from that file is not deleted — your review keeps its own extracted findings, evidence, and score independently of the original file.

Deleting a review

Permanently removes the review and everything built from it — its sections, findings, evidence, score, and chat history. It disappears from your dashboard and search immediately and cannot be reopened. It does not delete the files the review was built from. Any that are still stored stay in Settings, under Stored files, until you delete them.

Deleting all reviews

Permanently removes every review on your account in one action, with the same effect as deleting each review individually.

Deleting your account

Permanently removes your account and every review, file, chat, and collection associated with it. Requires re-entering your password to confirm. REEVUU will not delete an account while a subscription is still active, past due, or otherwise unresolved — you'll be asked to resolve billing first, so deleting your account never leaves unexpected future charges behind. A subscription you have cancelled stays active until the end of the period you paid for, so you can delete your account once that period ends.

What "automatic deletion" means

If you leave "Automatically delete uploaded files once a review is delivered" on in Settings (the default), a review's files are deleted when the review is delivered, but only after REEVUU has safely stored everything needed to keep showing you that review.

Nothing is deleted automatically while the setting is off. With it on, files from a review that fails, is cancelled or is never started, and files you leave out of a review, are still not deleted automatically. These files stay in Settings, under Stored files, until you delete them there or delete your account.

Honest limitations

• Deleting data from REEVUU's own database and storage happens immediately. REEVUU does not control, and cannot promise a specific timeline for, how quickly a deletion propagates through underlying infrastructure providers' own backup systems.
• Certain billing records may be retained by Stripe under its own legal/operational obligations, independent of REEVUU.
• Vercel, which runs review processing, keeps a record of each processing step. That record can include excerpts of your document, the findings and your focus. Vercel keeps it for a limited period set by Vercel. Deleting a file, a review, every review or your account in REEVUU does not remove it.
