Data Deletion Policy

Version 1.1 · Effective 7 September 2026

REEVUU offers four distinct deletion actions. They are not interchangeable — each has a different scope, and this page describes exactly what each one does.

Deleting an individual file

Removes the uploaded file from storage and its database record together, as one coordinated action. Any review already built from that file is not deleted — your review keeps its own extracted findings, evidence, and score independently of the original file.

Deleting a review

Permanently removes the review and everything built from it — its sections, findings, evidence, score, and chat history. It disappears from your dashboard and search immediately and cannot be reopened. It does not delete a source file you separately chose to keep, since a saved file can outlive the review it was originally used for.

Deleting all reviews

Permanently removes every review on your account in one action, with the same effect as deleting each review individually.

Deleting your account

Permanently removes your account and every review, file, chat, and collection associated with it. Requires re-entering your password to confirm. REEVUU will not delete an account while a subscription is still active, past due, or otherwise unresolved — you'll be asked to resolve billing first, so deleting your account never leaves unexpected future charges behind.

What "automatic deletion" means

If you leave the "automatically delete files after processing" setting on (the default), an uploaded file you haven't explicitly saved is deleted once your review has finished processing — but only after REEVUU has confirmed everything needed to keep showing you that review is safely stored first.

Honest limitations

  • Deleting data from REEVUU's own database and storage happens immediately. REEVUU does not control, and cannot promise a specific timeline for, how quickly a deletion propagates through underlying infrastructure providers' own backup systems.
  • Certain billing records may be retained by Stripe under its own legal/operational obligations, independent of REEVUU.
